Unravelling Oliver | Liz Nugent

Pickpick

Reading Unraveling Oliver reminded me of watching a true crime episode on television where they interview a variety of people in order for you to get a sense of who the offender was. It‘s not a “who done it” but a “WHY-Done-It”. Full review on my blog.

The Wolves of Winter | Tyrell Johnson

Pickpick

Packed full of adventure and treachery, the post-apocalyptic world that Tyrell Johnson created is a frightening reminder of what our future could look like. That aspects of the book was the hook for me — this could happen. Wait, this probably will happen. And what if it does? Would my choices be similar in order to survive? What would it take for me to turn on someone in order to ensure my own survival?

Brought this home with me yesterday. I have no idea when I'll get to it, but it's mine... that is all that really matters.
