“The Bet” by Anton Chekhov classifies money as an important human aspect. The bet is the result of a debate between two people regarding whether the death penalty is better than life in prison. This is shown when the lawyer initially wanted 2 million dollars. The banker was also willing to kill the lawyer at the end of the 15 years to stay financially stable. This is a clear demonstration of how money can foster corruption and greed in a person.
The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes seems somewhat similar to the movie Knives Out. The book begins with the main character, Avery Grambs, inheriting billions of dollars from someone whom she doesn't even know. The only catch is that she has to remain at the Hawthorne estate for one year with all four of the Hawthorne heirs. Each of the heirs have different opinions of Avery and are suspicious of her but some view her as a puzzle.
Lather and Nothing Else
The barber‘s decision was complex since he could fulfill his responsibility as a revolutionary and kill Captain Torres or do his job and not murder the murderer. I think his decision was correct because the consequences for both actions were heavy. However, the consequences of murdering the murderer were far greater than allowing the Captain to leave. This story tells us how the morals we have often outweigh our actions.

However, the Hitler Yael killed was not really Hitler and she has now killed someone similar to herself – another skinshifter. Felix, Adele‘s sister, and Luka, the love interest, are also with her since they are running from the SS. So far, Yael has escaped from the SS with Felix and Luka and finds someone from her past. The resistance is making progress and Yael is fighting to keep her humanity.

Wolf by Wolf is about how Yael, who is a skinshifter, will race as Adele Wolfe in the Axis Tour and win in order to kill Hitler at the Victor's Ball. This book takes place in a world where World War 2 never took place and Hitler still reigns. The Axis Tour is a motorcycle race held by Hitler and Emperor Hirohito across the conjoined continents. At the end of the book, she shoots Hitler at the Victor‘s Ball.
