“But you can't kill me, Lord Tyrant. I represent that one thing you've never been able to kill, no matter how hard you try. I am hope.”
This quote by kelsier summed up the whole book for me, this was the story of hope against oppression. It was a reminder never to give up even if all the odds are against you. I don't read "sad or depressing" books (because I am a book snob ?) but I am glad I took my chances on this one. On to the next I say!
