This book gave me that weird, wholesome, nostalgic feeling only the best books give.
Maybe being bored is a good thing. Because what that actually means is that things aren‘t like they were. And that‘s all I ever really want, for things to never be like they were.
And I‘ve got to keep sorting my shit out, because life is messy.
But fuck, it can be beautiful.
This book gave me that weird, wholesome, nostalgic feeling only the best books give.
Started it today, totally deviating from my current list (SHOCKER!) The writing hooked me immediately and I'm already intrigued by the characters at 16% into the book. Seems like a book I'll end up falling in love with.
1. Children of Blood and Bone - Tomi Adeyemi
A Thousand Boy Kisses - Tillie Cole
Ruckus - L. J. Shen
City of Brass - S. A. Chakraborty
Nevernight - Jay Kristoff
2. Textrovert- Lindsey Summers
3. An average of 5 books per month, hopefully I'll be able to get more in and come up to a total of 120 books
