My goal for this week is to read A Conjuring of Light (the first two books were fantastic so I have high hopes for this one!), Shades of Magic vol.1, and My Hero Academia vol.16. Let's do this!

A fun manga that continues to unveil some of the secrets going on behind the scenes! Quite a few differences from the anime, which I find even more interesting!
Unfortunately, this graphic novel didn't appeal to me very much. The main characters spend the entire arc split up (don't split the party!) and not a lot gets done. The arc is awkwardly split up between volumes 12 and 13 because it's too long for an single book.
Another fantastic read from V E Schwab! I like Kell, but he didn't make quite the same impression for me in this book. Rhy and Lila really shine here.
The world is masterfully built and the setup for the final book was on point!
My book of the week is A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab! The first book was so delightful that I just have to continue reading the series! I have a feeling that this will be a great week!
This series didn't really do a lot for me. I guess we got to a meet a new character that MIGHT appear in The Rise of Skywalker, but otherwise nothing really happened that prepared me for the upcoming movie.
This book had been on my TBR for a long time now, and I'm glad that I finally got to it. The worlds were so imaginative and the characters were delightful and fun to read about. I don't know what the sequels have in store, but I am very excited to start them!
Really enjoying this book so far! I'm about halfway through it and I'm hoping my baby will let me finish the other half by the end of the weekend!
I find that I do not like books that keep switching point of views, but Jim Butcher does this masterfully. I felt very invested in each of the main characters and could not wait to see what happened next. I cannot wait to start reading the second book and see where this series goes.
Quite enjoying this book so far. I'm about 200 pages in and find that I cannot put it down (except to post this blurb, apparently).
Starting the Codex Alera, a series by Jim Butcher that managed to escape my notice until now. If it's anything like the Dresden Files or Cinder Spires, I think I'm in for quite a ride.
Uh oh, my first real review. I first picked the Mistborn trilogy up about 3 years ago and instantly fell in love. Brandon Sanderson has the ability to create a magic system and explain how it works in great detail, which is very important to me. Now that I understand the scope of The Cosmere, re-reading this book gives me a greater understanding of his universe and what to expect going forward. A definite must-read for fans of fantasy!
Spent a lot of this long weekend reading The Hero of Ages. Now that I understand what is happening in Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere, this book makes much more sense to me!
Starting up book 2 of the Raven's Shadow trilogy. Was amazed with the story and writing of the first book, so I have hopes that the momentum will keep up!
