So good so far. I've missed fantasy that isn't trying to be deathly serious all the time (T.H. White's dialogue is very witty and clever). I didn't realize when I started that it would be about the Sword in the Stone story, so it may help that the tale is familiar. Will update with a review!

Update: definitely recommended. The book left me thinking about society's relationship with death as well as my own (my own relationship with death, and my own death). If that sounds uncomfortable, you should read it too!
