Today is a good day for galleys! A retelling of Othello, the sequel to Girl With All the Gifts, and a memoir by a kick-ass Saudi Arabian feminist/activist! Score!
Just started this lovely book last night. Am home sick today, so going to read and drink tea. Thanks to HRH Rorykins for being a patient bookstand.
Spending a little time catching up with Angel & Co.
"It begins with absence and desire. It begins with blood and fear. It begins with a discovery of witches." I'm participating in the real-time reading. It's going to be difficult to pace myself on my favorite book! #RealTimeReadingADOW #deborahharkness
Oh, this is so lovely and mysterious and magical - just what I need to get me through my migraine.
Two books for two events coming up. I am loving To the Bright Edge of the World as much as I did The Snow Child. And there will be cooking this weekend from the Poldark cookbook!
I could go inside and do some chores. Or I could continue to sit on my porch and finish my book. As if there's any question as to which I will be doing!

I'm listening to The Twelve on my commute (I just finished listening to The Passage), and realizing that when I read it when it first came out, I either skipped whole chapters, or my galley was missing chapters. In any case, there are now parts of City of Mirrors that make a whole lot more sense!
Finally getting around to reading this! I thought I should, as she's doing an event at my store in October. Loving it so far!
