So pumped to finally get my hands on Julie Falatko's first chapter book!! If you haven't picked up her Snappsy picture books yet you need to fix that pronto.

How can you not love something with that cover? A true successor to the Riordan pantheon with refreshingly strong heroines. While at first there were parts where I felt like it was trying a little too hard to be a Riordan novel, Chokshi hits her stride and I'm so excited to see where Aru and Mini end up next. Hindu mythology is something I only know the bare bones of, and Chokshi does a great job at introducing the world to unfamiliar readers.
