the begining was a bit slow but the pace picked up midway and boy,was it interesting. The world is quite amazing and while I don't usually go for 'based on real life' fantasy stories, this was just too gripping to let that stop me.My fav is of course Shara, followed by Sigrid, though I don't like how the book ended with them.
Def would rec'd to fantasy readers looking for a different kind of female protagonist.

wow.. now that was a disappointment.. I don't even know from where to start.
the writing style was tedious, the basic story premise initially seemed interesting,until you realise it a Judeo Christian scifi book and those themes start hitting you in the face pretty heavy handedly. Nowhere in it's description is this fact mentioned (Amazon,goodreads etc etc).
The big bad... isn't even really that big or bad. it just ..is.
