Two words. Inej. Ghafa. Ohmygodiloveher. Usually I find that a ‘second-series‘ of one I loved never quite lives up to the first, and although it wasn‘t another Sankta Alina, it stands on its own in my book (no pun intended). Definitely suggest if you liked the Grisha trilogy!

And so, it ends. The trilogy that brought me to purchasing a follow-up duology and anxiously awaiting more. The Grisha trilogy has become a go-to when friends ask me for book recs. Not a single complaint yet! Absolutely adore Bardugo‘s works. ❤️❤️

Love, love, love! Leigh Bardugo doesn‘t disappoint in the sequel to ‘Shadow and Bone.‘ Would definitely read the whole series again if I didn‘t have so many TBR books. The only thing that bothered me in this one was a certain character... *cough*Mal*cough*, but he doesn‘t annoy me nearly enough to distract from the rest of this.

Words cannot express how much I enjoyed this book (and the rest)!! Leigh Bardugo‘s stories have made their way into my heart and cemented their place. If you haven‘t read these, make it a priority! You‘ll have no regrets.

Took this book traveling with me, finished it in the airport! It was definitely an enjoyable read. I can‘t say it‘s one of my favorites, but definitely one I could read again!
