When I first started this book I thought 'cool this writer has an engaging writing style' now that I'm a majority of the way through the book I keep thinking 'why the fuck did she write such a winey, annoying and judgemental female character?'

I just feel like I'm getting so annoyed with the female main character that I might not even bother finishing it... Cause she's giving me a headache.

I'm not gonna lie this book struck me deep and I'm still not sure if im okay weeks after reading it.

It touches on very real issues that I'm sure many couples struggle with and is a wee reminder that not everything is going to be sunshine and rainbows.

I think that this is one of those soul breaking, steal your breath kinda reads, which to be honest I was not expecting.

Definitely recommend 💙

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this wee slice of Irish delight and Shen always provides a good read but it felt like at times it maybe had too much going on?

If you're looking for a nice rom that makes you smile and is an easy read... This is the book for you.
If you're looking for a soul shattering, steals your breath kind of read... ehhh maybe not this one.
