This is not a bright , flowery series, but it is a good one. I have been meaning to read the sequel to The Fifth Season for a while and #magicalreadathon has given me just the nudge I need.

Is anyone else doing the readathon? Which sequel are you reading?

Pickpick

"But then there is my magic, except a witch is just a girl who has realized her power is her own..."

.
Wicked Saints is brimming with voice, and magic and interesting, terrible challenges. I loved almost every second of it and the ending has made me eager for the next book. Full review on my channel (Where in the world is Leah Jane) soon.

Pickpick

I read this book in one sitting, tears running down my face.

This is a story about stories, but it is also one about the uglier parts of grief we keep hidden away, how we eventually face them, and how we forgive ourselves and mourn.

Great reading views 👣🌲🏞📚| Empire of Sands is one of my most highly anticipated books this year. Thrilled I finally got to *dive* in while hiking by this loch.📖🔖🖤
