1. Tagged. It was made into a Disney movie with Reese Witherspoon in the 90‘s called A Far Of Place which is the name of the 2nd book. In the book the dog, Hintza, a Rhodesian Ridgeback plays a larger part. I‘ve always wanted one. 🐕

The stories are almost completely different but I love them both.
I stopped by a couple of Goodwill stores yesterday and came away with this stack for $4.83. Has anyone read the two Van Der Post books? I saw the movie of A Far Off Place when it came out and remember liking it so I picked them both up. #bookhaul
