The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars in Gretchen McNeils witty and suspenseful novel about four disparate girls who join forces to take revenge on high school bullies and create dangerous enemies for themselves in the process. Bree, Olivia, Kitty, and Margot have nothing in commonat least thats what theyd like the students and administrators of their elite private school to think. The girls have different goals, different friends, and different lives, but they share one very big secret: Theyre all members of Dont Get Mad, a secret society that anonymously takes revenge on the schools bullies, mean girls, and tyrannical teachers. When their latest target ends up dead with a blood-soaked DGM card in his hands, the girls realize that theyre not as anonymous as they thoughtand that someone now wants revenge on them. Soon the clues are piling up, the police are closing in . . . and everyone has something to lose.

I first discovered this book from watching Get Even on BBC, but the book was completely different. I liked the multiple POV from each of the four girls who are completely different, apart from their need for revenge. Bree was my favourite as she was like the hidden glue between them. I loved the murder mystery aspect with the added usual high school drama and how everything intertwined. It did seem repetitive at times, and the ending was left open

I've read another book by this author - I'm guessing a later title, as her writing skills were better in the first one I read. This one was decent, but ended in a cliffhanger a la Pretty Little Liars, and I don't like her writing enough to read the next one even though I'm curious about who the killer is. Bummer. Quick read, plot trumps characters, writing, etc.

Definitely a pick all the way for me. It filled that empty hole where Pretty Little Liars left a space. This was so good and suspenseful and had some fantastic twists and of course a cliffhanger ending. Loved it!!!

Wow! I had more books that fit the #revenge tag than I thought I would! Haven't read any of them though, have you?
