I read this book in grade school (back when I despised reading any type of novel) and honestly I loved this book as much as a fourth grader could. Even though it was a school assigned book, it made its way into my heart. The characters are well written and when they strive for something more, you can‘t help but want to help them get there too. If you get your hands on this book please love on it in your own way.

Perseverance, diligence, persistence and kindness are some of the traits of Nathaniel Bowditch, which made him into a successful captain of his own ship, despite his hardships in the beginning. I enjoy this book although I find it confusing at times. Lots of wonderful characters that you'll fall in love with. #navigation #jeanleelatham #sea #ship #ocean #biography

You mathematician! I wish you could at least pay compliments without arithmetic!

A few of the reads I saved specifically for November. Its bleak, grey cold is perfect for reading big books in warm lamplight whilst nestled in many quilts with chai in hand!

Hooked_on_books You paint a lovely picture. I'm in! 8y
