This wasn't my favorite book in the Dark Hunter series. I enjoyed it as a fluff read but it doesn't stick to the same format as her earlier Dark Hunter novels. I enjoyed a peek into new lore, but she didn't provide as much background into the myths which made some things more difficult to follow. It seems like a set up for new characters and new lore in the following novels. I'm sure they are good but this one felt weak compared to previous stuff
