Berrys family wants to evacuate before the hurricane comes. but then his sister gets very sick so they just have to wait out the hurricane. Berry is struggling to survive the hurricane. and does not even know if his parents are still alive . After his house gets destroyed he has to hang on to a tree for dear life. if you like books that are natural disasters. The this will be the right book for you. pickThe last of the I Survived series that my library had. Are all of the survivors boys? Would be nice for females to get some representation too. This was my least favorite but still a good book.
