Mehso-so

3/5 ⭐ Loved the first half with Elijah & Baz's prickliness. They lost that & devolved a bit by the end into more generic romance characters. The eventual proposal was sweet, but didn't seem realistic for what made these two particular characters shine with each other. Lejla's storyline fell off, & I thought Gloria could have been a lot more complex. Overall important issues were dealt with & we got another satisfying Cullinan romance. #projectSAMS

1000% here for prickly characters who nevertheless instinctively protect each other from their respective demons.

Pickpick

This was my favorite book in Heidi Cullinan's "Love Lessons" trilogy. I love romance novels that examine the psychological complexities of relationships, and this book definitely does that.
Cullinan also includes a romantic protagonist with a physical disability and a trans supporting character.

4🌟 three thoughts 1) was so hard to put this one down to do real life stuff 2) Baz & Elijah are a couple that'll make you feel all the feels!! 3) a little surfacy at times and cutesy at end but over all - loved! I'll miss these characters a lot

As far as Elijah Prince was concerned, gay weddings could choke on their own cheery goddamned glitter and die.
