Madrox
Madrox: Multiple Choice | Peter David
2 posts | 3 read
The mini-series that launched the all-new X-Factor, available for the first time in hardcover! Jamie Madrox, stabbed, staggering off a bus. Jamie Madrox, setting up a detective agency in the heart of Mutant Town. Jamie Madrox, a peaceful Shaolin priest. Which is the real Jamie Madrox? In this noir-esque thriller, it's possible that even Madrox doesn't know anymore. Peter David, acclaimed for his run on X-Factor, reunites several of that title's most popular and whimsical characters - Jamie Madrox, Wolfsbane, and the aptly named Strong Guy - and sends them on an adventure of light and darkness. Collecting Madrox #1-5.

Started my X-Factor reread tonight. I forgot how good this prequel miniseries is, with the detecting and the character dynamics and the existential despair.

I didn't forget how much I like Jamie Madrox, who's one of my favourite mutants. He's something of an oddity for me, though, because I only ever refer to him by his full name or his surname. I can't imagine calling him Jamie. It'd feel weird.

TobeyTheScavengerMonk I loooooooooved this miniseries. It was from before I bagged and boarded so whenever I‘m at my parents house I always find individual issues in odd places. 6y

Fantastic miniseries and the start of a long run of X-Factor. A great read even if you don't normally read cape books. A mystery series set in the mutant world.
