First off, I did not care for the voice of the narrator...and she voiced the male lead of the story to further my dislike. That, unfortunately, set the tone for the whole book. Secondly, I don't know if Romantic Suspense is for me...it comes off too cheesy and unbelievable. I don't know if it's the narrator or just the genre itself??? ⇣⇣⇣

The 1st in the (Blood Brothers Series). Ryker and Zara has been sleeping w/ each other & she‘s falling hard for him but she know better that there‘s no future since that‘s what Ryker told her the very 1st time they slept together. Things getting blurred when he noticed the bruise on her face. While trying to hunt down the bastard who hurt her, Ryker own past is coming after him hard. A very domineering male character. #romanticsuspense #audiobook

Over the top novel with a lot going on. In short, hero founds PI firm with his chosen brothers who all survived a twisted orphanage. He falls in love with a paralegal in small town Wyoming and they survive crooked politicians, crooked cops, and a twisted government bioengineer bent on vengeance.

Hot and yummy! Just how I like them.

Zara is killing me, why are female lead characters usually portrayed nosy and needy? Good gracious, one minute she is a strong paralegal and the next she is doing stupid stuff that makes me want to give her a hard shake! ヽ(｀Д´)ﾉ

Come on Zara! Up your game!

I've never really owned any autographed books before so excuse me while I fangirl all over again.

I kinds liked this book, but also felt there was a whole prequel-series I'd somehow missed... good enough for me to keep an eye out for more, not so good I went running to track them down immediately.
