I ran out of library renewals, so this had to get returned without finishing it. After months, it was probably time to let go. As it turns out, I have about 2/3 of a book interest in The Pinkertons. I will stick with reruns of The Wild, Wild West.

BestOfFates I find it so freeing to give up on library books! 8y

The Pinkertons are kind of starting to feel pretty self-servinginly Big Brother-esque, and then with this creepy eye. I have been reading a chapter of this book every few weeks, and am determined to finish someday! #ReadUp

I am obsessed with the titles in this book--the long main title as well as the chapter titles that all begin with a sort of old timey "in which." I started this book awhile ago and it has been sitting on my bedside table as I've been distracted by other things (#blamelitsy), so it has been nice to return to it this weekend. #ReadUp #happySunday

I'm back on Litsy, folks. I have been really neglecting my non-work reading, but I started this new gem from John's Hopkins University Press tonight. #ReadUP
