pickThis was a #blamelitsy read but hilariously was something a coworker was reading at the same time and so has now become an office by-word. I liked it! Dual narrators, good banter, fresh premise. Did I mention the male narrator has an Irish accent in the audiobook? 😂
About serial killers who kill other serial killers and fall in love via a serial-killing-competition, so consider for your October reading pleasure if you need some raunch.
Just a small shout out to everyone who nominated books for #camplitsy24 - the books above were my top choices among those that did not make it onto the official camp roster. They immediately went onto my tbr anyway! I would not have had them on my radar if it was not for the longlist, and that would have been a shame. The first bookstore we visited was McNally Jackson in Midtown - we loved this one when we visited last time
Both Daddy‘s Gone A-Hunting and The Postcard is #BlameLitsy buys, and Jen Campbell recommended Daddy on her channel as well
So it seemed only appropriate that I bought her book as well
I loved Tia Williams Seven Days In June so when I saw that she had a new book out, I had to have it

pickI think this novella was a #blamelitsy pick after seeing it on a number of best-of-2023 lists on here. And it's lovely. Sparse prose where the love can shine clearly through. Love this cover, too.

I didn‘t know much about Paris Hilton. I saw the paparazzi photographs in the early 2000s, heard about the tape and saw some trailers to her reality show The Simple Life
After reading this I know that Paris Hilton‘s life has been completely different than what I thought. She‘s though, especially mentally. I‘m amazed that she can be so graceful after everything.
pickThis is a #blamelitsy book. It is a dark MG horror novel that deals with grief, fear, loss, and anxiety. The audiobook narration is done well, capturing the tension perfectly. I liked the characters. The Clackity is reminiscent of Tolkien‘s Gollum, and the evil spirit is truly chilling. I‘m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

The Paris memoir is a #BlameLitsy buy since everyone seemed to love it.
pickWOW!! Im still catching my breath from this INSANE memoir that had me gripped from the very beginning. Cheryl grew up in the most unusual and chaotic family. Parents and two siblings who were literally fugitives from the law. Cheryl didn‘t know from whom or why they were constantly changing identities and continents until much later in her life. With an over controlling narcissistic father & a passive mother Cheryl lived on the edge 👇🏽
