I enjoyed the second Volume a lot. It differs a lot more from the TV show and it is really interesting to discover those differences. I think the story as told in the graphic novel works really well for that medium it makes you realize how brilliantly it was adapted to TV. Not all changes made were necessary but all the changes made it better for TV. Can't wait to read the next one! #thewalkingdead

The gang of survivors transitions to long-term survival and searching for a safe home. People change by loss and hardship. Some snap but many show resilience. Tensions arise from the danger, cold, hunger, being stuck together. They explore many forms of grief, but also people finding love, bonding as a group, looking out for each other. The morality of killing zombies and whether they can be helped is raised. A superb follow-up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The crew finds itself struggling to find food and a safe place. In this volume, they happen upon Herschel, his farm and family. Then all good things must come to an end. This is similar but also so very different from the show. Maggie and Glenn find each other and then they 'find each other'. 💕💀☠️🗡🔨⛏🔪🛡

Bette Miss Herschel. ?. Ha, the "good old days" in TWD. 8y
Books_Wine_Repeat @Bette Ha yeah! He was a jerk and kind of a dummy in the comics. Show Herschel was way better. 8y
