My Book Outlet #Booktober order arrived. I‘m not allowed to buy any more books this month (good thing there are only two days left 🤣) #Bookhaul

LeahBergen I THINK you‘ll be able to make it but I‘m not too sure. 😆 13mo
Melissa_J @LeahBergen the struggle is real 😬 13mo
Andrew65 I need to read more Stewart Binns, enjoyed the one book I read. 13mo

Melissa_J @Andrew65 which book of his have you read? 13mo
Andrew65 Conquest, which is the first book in the Making of England Series which has 4 books, although didn‘t know it was part of a series when I read it. This covered the events leading up and after the 1066 battles. Do definitely want to read more by him. Obviously Betrayal is a very different type of book. (edited) 13mo
Melissa_J @Andrew65 I have my eye on that series. I also have this on on my TBR pile (it‘s the first in a duality) 13mo
Andrew65 @Melissa_J That looks good too. 13mo

#booktober day 12: A book I wish there was a sequel to. This book was so good and different. Ms Okorafor always takes the untraveled plot. The worlds she creates are so full and complete, you want to travel to them and live there and explore. #MGBooktober

#booktober day 9:favourite mg series. The Jumbies and Rise Of the Jumbies are such exciting books with realistic characters who handle their situation in a way that‘s believable (despite the fact they are taking on Jumbies!) My 8yr old kid loves it‘s do I! #mgbooktober

#booktober day 8: a book that deserves more recognition than it gets. I went into to this book not knowing it was classified as horror, which perhaps made it even more haunting to me.

#booktober day 6: best book cover ever! This was so hard to pick! I actually rarely pay attention to the cover of books, but if there is one that intrigued me and made me want to read it, it was this. I was very young when I first read this book and thinking of this cover and it was for a kid book, well, I just HAD to read it! #mgbooktober

#booktober day 5: favourite school based adventure! Obviously it has to be these oldies but goodies! One of the best thing about having an 8yr old is getting to reread old favourites and laugh again at Greg Heffley‘s misadventures!

Ortberg managed to make the darkness of fairy tales even darker in these retellings. Not all of the stories were winners, but overall I really liked this collection a lot. 👻🏰🖤 #booktober

#booktober day 4: A book you couldn‘t put down. This book was so good and I stayed up way too late just to finish it. I believe there will be more and it will be a series, and that makes me so happy!
