Charming children‘s graphic novel with beautiful-soft artwork, creepy plot points, and both a proper villain, and a proper happy ending.

I was so happy to get an ARC of this from #alaac17! Lint Boy doesn‘t disappoint as a graphic novel. The illustrations are more picture book than comic and they fit the flow of the story perfectly! Leijten brings to life the story of a doll formed from lint and the mean little girl/old lady who hates dolls. I do wonder if young readers will fully get the humor but as an adult, I laughed my way through the entire book, lost socks and all!
