Chloe needs a holiday. She's sick of making wedding dresses, her partner Philip has troubles at work, and the whole family wants a break. Her wealthy friend Gerard has offered the loan of his luxury villa in Spain--perfect. Hugh is not a happy man. His immaculate wife Amanda seems more interested in her new kitchen than in him, and he works so hard to pay for it, he barely has time for his children. Maybe he'll have a chance to bond with them on holiday. His old friend Gerard has lent them a luxury villa in Spain--perfect. Both families arrive at the villa and realize the awful truth--Gerard has double-booked. What no one else realizes is that Chloe and Hugh have a history; and as tensions rise within the two families, old passions resurface. It seems that Gerard's 'accidental' double booking may not be an accident after all...

I volunteered for a All Night Grad Party and took most of today off to recover. This was the perfect book to read about a vacation gone wrong at a villa in Spain while I recovered. Honestly I don‘t know how kids stay up late so easily. #FoodAndLit #Spain

Two families,one double booked holiday villa in Spain. When Chloe arrives at the holiday villa there is already a family unpacked and enjoying their holiday.Chloe and Hugh instantly recognise each other ...they have a past.

I really enjoyed my first Madeline Wickham read , Iv read a few Sophie kinsella which are fab.
I had to keep listening to this one it had me hooked. Although I did find the relationship between the nanny and the son quite⬇️⬇️

Powered_By_Plants Uncomfortable, wether this is because I have a son similar age and her being older and in a nanny position it just didn‘t sit right. I was also hoping that Sam would find out about his real father 🤷‍♀️ . Still an enjoyable easy listen 🥰 4y
