After a slow start, it began to unfold rapidly, picking up pace and building tension magnificently. I spent the last half of the book on the edge of my seat, desperate to find out what would happen next.

There were predictable moments, sure, but there was always a looming dread of who was going to be next, and how it would happen

It was a fantastic, fast paced, supernatural thriller packed with mystery & tension in spades once it got going! 🖤

Not sure I like the new audible layout buy hey-ho 😒

I'm definitely enjoying this book more than I thought I would, and I feel bad for judging it so harshly at the beginning (even if it was taking its sweet time!) ☺️

Its turned into a fast paced, action packed, haunting supernatural mystery thriller, and I'm loving it!

So it looks like I put it down last time just as the story was about to pick up the pace, because oh my days has a lot suddenly happened!

Its still easy to keep up with, and the characters are all fascinating in their own ways! My only issue with the #AudioBook is that the narrator doesn't seem to have much range so most of the characters sound the same (men and women alike).

Really looking forward to the rest now 😊

3 and a half hours into this #AudioBook and I'm ready for something to happen. Literally anything 😑 It seemed like something was going to happen for a hot minute, but I was mistaken.
The concept seems super interesting (is it aliens? Ghosts? Something else?) and I like the way it's being approached in many ways, but it's trying my patience with how slowly its unraveling.

Gonna leave it for a bit I think.

It has a good build up but often stalled out in long chapters. Far too many characters for any to experience any growth or to become important to the readers. And the ending was just awful.
