Today wasn't a great day, but after a nap I feel a lot better.
I probably won't be able to sleep now, but that's okay. I'm really enjoying my book.
If I'm tired in the morning, it'll be worth it.

1. Flowers outside my office! Despite the wild weather, spring has sprung.
2. #currentlyreading 10 Things I Can See From Here by Carrie Mac

Cleo has commandeered my new book so she will be reading it first apparently
#10ThingsICanSeeFromHere is a must read and received a raving review from our Teen Board Member, "I honestly could talk about 10 THINGS I CAN SEE FROM HERE forever but instead I‘m going to send this review in, reread the book, and then start passing it off to every single one of my friends. This book is a must-read. It really felt life changing and I would highly recommend it."
LOVE this sweet, funny, complicated book about anxiety and family and falling in love and discovering your own strengths. Maeve is fantastic, her voice is really lovable, and watching her fall for Salix was truly delightful. This one comes out on Feb 28th and I can't recommend it enough.
Yeah, I'm an indie bookseller but I just use my ancient Kindle for ARCs, which help me be a better bookseller. Right now I'm marveling at the fact that I currently have FIVE YA ARCs with lesbian protagonists on this thing. FIVE FREAKING ARCS. And there at least five more 2017 releases I'm equally excited about but don't have yet. This...this would've been incomprehensible to me, even three years ago. I'm so happy right now.
I'm looking forward to this story about Maeve, a teen who suffers from extreme anxiety and must adjust to a whole lot of new all at once when she is sent to live with her dad and his pregnant wife while her mom takes a temporary traveling work assignment. To add to Maeve's worries, she finds herself falling for a carefree girl. Do the teens have a chance for a relationship? Can Maeve find a way to live with her anxiety?
Just finished. Look out for this LGBTQ romance about a girl with severe anxiety coming in February. The cover is the brightest pink you've ever seen and the story provides a serious representation of how anxiety can touch every corner of your life.
