so-soI love a good zombie story. But for some reason this one didn't really do it for me. Maybe it was all the (non-stop) ultra running talk. I'm more of an indoorsy girl myself. Maybe it was the fact that any time the male character said something to the female protagonist, she "obeyed." (I counted over 20 uses of the word obey ?) Idk. It was ok. But I don't think I'll continue the series.

Fun mix of long distance running & zombie apocalypse! Loved it! You don‘t have to be a runner to enjoy the story....just a fan of zombie tales!
pickThis book is about two best friends Kate and Federico and their journey though the zombie madness to rescue their children. Apart from the obvious zombies, they have to deal with lack of food, lack of hydration, too many blisters due to the running, and worst of all, people! All of this was well developed and written, so I could feel the pain of the characters, both physically and emotionally.
I recommend this book to all zombie lovers. 😊
