Picking this up now, on a whim, since it's been a bit since I read a mystery! So far I'm not in love with it; reminds me a bit of the style of John Dickson Carr.
Still, just glad my brain is finding the idea of reading compelling again lately!
This was the advent book for the 9th! I really don't know American crime fiction of this period well so I'm getting an education. 😁
