SKIP BEAT! Vol 40 dropped in English today, so I'm doing a (very) partial reread before I dive in. As always, I marvel at how Nakamura so succinctly takes us through an emotion. From right to left here, we've got Lory's, "Oh, buddy, you're so wrong but I don't wanna burst your bubble" face followed by Ren's, "Oh crap, I'm completely wrong and everything is awful" face. She doesn't need a single word to get any of it across. #comics #manga

The cliffhangers are going to kill me at some point! And 3 months to go for the next volume! 😣 But I can only recommend this series. Humorous without being silly and a great slow-boiling (is that even a word?) romance ❤ #manga
