pickI picked this up on a whim at a library bag sale. In this middle grade story about friendship, a young girl gets a glimpse into the future of hers and her best friend‘s life, and it‘s not good. Is it time travel? And alternate reality? Will her life ever be normal again? These are some of the things that Jenni faces in this book. A surprisingly cute read. Three and a half stars.

I think fall (autumn!) feels as if it has almost been and gone. The trees are nearly bare and it feels as if winter is upon us already ☃️
The awful weather of this morning - heavy rain, overcast skies and temperatures of 5 degrees has turned into a clear, crisp and cold afternoon - my favourite thing about autumn 🍁
