Journey Across the Hidden Islands | 
Reading this cute fantasy story about two sisters who are on a quest with unexpected twists and challenges for BookList's diversity spotlight. Not an AOC, but the story is inspired by various Asian cultures all mish-mashed with other cool stuff like a flying lion. Undecided whether I like the mix yet, but the story is sweet on its own so far. Nearly a quarter of the way in.
