I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book, but ended up being very pleasantly surprised. It is written from the perspective of Casey, a 12 year old boy who lives with his dad & grandfather at the family's umpire school, who is aspiring to be a newspaper reporter. The story discusses family, divorce, rules & having to work your way up & pay your dues. Valuable life lessons & a great pic for my 4th graders. #teachersoflitsy
