#TBRtemptation post! Written from the perspective of a 9-year old boy, this book's about 2 young brothers escaping Soviet military action against the 1956 Hungarian Revolution & heading out for family in Paris. Sibling rivalry, family secrets, and loss are major themes. JK did escape the event himself & wound up in Canada, so perhaps there's a memoir nature to the story.
