Time for the bookish discussion question of the day 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! Here it is, courtesy of the spectacular @Lynnsoprano ☺️🤗🤗🤗: Do you have a #blameMrBook book? Or one you‘ve read based on his #TBRtemptation posts? (I hope I‘ve helped some of you. ☺️🤓) #BookTalk

tournevis You are blameless and without fault! 1mo
Lynnsoprano 🤗😘 1mo
LibrarianRyan While I like you to death, we have different reading styles. I had to dig way way way deep to find a book I would read that I could use for @bookishmarganelia and @Wanderingbookaneer reading challenge. I have the book sitting on my TV and now I just need to find time to read it. 1mo

As the #LitsyPartyofOne and #24b4Monday crews get ready to host the #mrbook1inamillion celebration, I thought I‘d borrow his graphic and ask a question of my own. Do you have a #blameMrBook book? Or one you‘ve read based on his #TBRtemptation posts? We‘d love to hear what they are. My first was the tagged book, but I know there have been others. What about you?

ljuliel I bought one that he recommended quite awhile back in one of his “library stack” posts. I have yet to read it. 1mo
Lynnsoprano @ljuliel I‘m guessing he‘s influenced a lot of Littens in their choice of books. 👍 1mo
ljuliel Yes, I like his posts when he shows stacks of books from work. That way you get to see a whole new selection. 1mo
mrp27 I can't think of any off the top of my head but I'm sure I've added a book recommended by him to my tbr. 1mo

#TBRtemptation post 4! From the author of “Bird Box” comes another tense read, according to the reviewers! J is one of 26 boys are being taught as prodigies at an isolated school deep in the woods. On the other side of the forest is a parallel school for just girls. K has never seen a boy, J‘s never seen a girl. They meet and work to figure out what their schools are up to...and learn about themselves. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

Bklover I‘ve been looking forward to this one! 1mo

Christie, Lippman, Paretsky, Orczy, Grafton, are among those who have stories included. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

#TBRtemptation post 2! Quoyle‘s two-timing wife meets her untimely end. With that, he heads back to his roots with his 2 daughters. Along Newfoundland‘s coast, family and a rich cast of locals help him and his girls to come to terms with and reclaim their lives. The possibility of love without pain and misery begins to emerge in sometimes comical ways. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

ljuliel One of my all time favorites. I believe I read this a lifetime ago....or at least it seems so. 1mo
dragondrool I love this book, and the movie was pretty great, too! The soundtrack is great background music for futzing around to.

#TBRtemptations post #4! On the National Book Awards‘s fiction longlist! This is an intimate letter from a son addressed to his single mother. It is a novel of revealing one‘s self, the complicated relationship between mother and son, and understanding one‘s own familial background, in this case to Vietnam. The poet has written a novel that seems to be unanimously loved for its prose by reviewers. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled I loved it. It‘s rough reading as far as subject matter, but the language is beautiful. 3mo
Leftcoastzen It was one of my favorites this year 3mo
Branwen I loved this book so much. 3mo
rwmg I saw it in the shops, now based on your descriptions of the book and the author I've wishlisted it. (edited) 3mo

#TBRtemptation post 2! Recently released. January Scaller is the ward of wealthy Mr. Locke. She resides in his house filled with strange, exotic miscellany. One day she comes upon a book. It tells of other worlds, and spins a tale of secret doors and dangerous adventure. As she reads, she finds it interwoven with much of her own.
