#2019Book7
The mystery itself in this book was fine, but the way the clues were laid made everything way too obvious, ruining any chance of the reader being surprised by the twists. None of the characters connected or conversed in realistic ways and many of their conflicts could have been easily resolved if they'd bothered to talk to each other for two minutes.

GypsyKat Ugh! Miscommunication or lack of communication as a plot device is just annoying. 🙄 6y

I didn't post this review from #24in48 as I was waiting for it to get in the database & then forgot.😬This is the 2nd book in a mystery/thriller series about a wildlife biologist fighting elephant poaching/the ivory trade. Catherine leaves Nambia for Hong Kong-scene of illegal animal trade & becomes embroiled in solving a trafficking plot run by an old enemy, not sure who to trust. The scenes of animal cruelty are tough but the story is riveting.

DebinHawaii I do suggest starting with the first book set in Nambia. 8y
Kat_Reads Namibia is my dream vacation destination 😍I'll definitely have to get these books! 8y
