I have tomorrow and Friday off for Veteran's Day so I'm doing a #24in48 readathon on my own cause I miss them. 😞 I'm starting with the tagged book to finish the series (not my fave by the author, btw) and picking the rest of my options tonight.

Sweet story about family bonding, fear vs hope and new adventures. Enjoyed this MG novel in audio. A good read for #Scarathlon2021 #TeamHendrix #bookspinbingo #24in48 #spookoween #littenlisten 15 points 5 hrs . 3.5🌟#readingwithmaja #october
Y‘all know it‘s cold (14 F/ -10 C) when I‘m actually drinking hot coffee! This is the mug I won in the last #24in48 where they gave prizes. It‘s my current favorite. Oh and we only have a bit of snow so far, but it‘s supposed to snow all day. Stay warm everyone!

Last weekend pushed me ahead of a normal reading month with the #24in48. I don‘t think I‘ve ever covered this much of my bingo board without using all my free spaces 😊.
I‘m not quite finished with Detransition, Baby. It‘s my favorite books so far this year, and I‘m betting it ends up on my best of the year list!
My last review for a #24in48 read.
I felt the story was okay, and at times comical, but it just missed something, making it a so-so read for me. The Queen rediscovers her love of reading, and the Royal household and staff respond in a not so positive way. Book mentions within the narrative are interesting.

This is a sweet story of second chances and, dare I say it, the power of coffee. In an obscure cafe in Tokyo, those who wish to visit a past occurrence can do so...but, there are rules. Lots of rules. And severe consequences if the coffee gets cold...
I enjoyed this one. The characters are entertaining, and I admittedly shed a few tears. Many thanks to @BarbaraBB for sending me this one for #Japan and #ReadingAsia2021 . Also, ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I started with this book for #24in48 , and I am so glad I did! This has been on my radar since it came out, and it lived up to my expectations. May writes a candid and thoughtful look at self-acceptance. For those who suffer, this is for you. Learn how to cope and, most importantly, accept your “winter” times and know how to best receive the tools you need to “weather the storm.” It was a comforting read, and one I desperately needed. So good!
This is an older novel by Krentz, and while her formulaic structure and pacing in her later novels is evident here, there is some polishing needed for the overall package. I really disliked Cavenaugh, the male lead who is supposed to be tough, but his attitude at times left me feeling he‘s a bit controlling. Nevertheless, a good listen during the #24in48 #readathon . A quick romantic suspense from one of the masters of the genre.
Was too sleepy to post this last night — my final time count for #24in48, and a picture of the three books I finished in print. Not pictured is the one audiobook I finished (Chatter) or the other one I started (The Warmth of Other Suns). Really enjoyed this readathon!
