pickI really really enjoyed this, the first book in the series. Which is why I was so disappointed I wasn‘t enjoying the second as much (which was likely my fault for leaving it so long between books). I didn‘t realise at the time that Kate Constable was an Aussie author, I do enjoy finding wonderful Aussie authors. So if you‘re looking for an Aussie fantasy author for YA then give her works a go.
