This one felt different maybe because we are inside the husband‘s head. Wife has an affair and is searching for herself. The husband wants wife back, but must find himself a little as well. I just wanted to shake both and tell them about the wonders of therapy. Sounded like they could afford it. Mostly an enjoyable read, but came up a little flat and disappointing in the end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A quick read, but not particularly memorable. I did like that it was a novel about a marriage falling apart told from the man‘s perspective, and that there was no all good or all bad. They had both messed up.

This is a Berg novel from a few years ago that I somehow missed when it was released. It was a bit of a disappointment, to be honest; there just wasn't that wonderful Berg magic that I've grown to know and love. Still worth your time, though – after all, it IS Elizabeth Berg, for God's sake.
