JanuarieTimewalker13 Yes, but whatever happened to Yugos? They came on the scene when Hyundais did but they disappeared. 2y
KathyWheeler @JanuarieTimewalker13 Your question sent me down a Yugo rabbit hole! There‘s this story about it: https://www.librarypoint.org/blogs/post/the-yugo/ and there‘s even a book: The Yugo: the Rise and Fall of the Worst Car in History. 2y
JanuarieTimewalker13 Hahahaha! They looked pretty bad. I‘m a die hard Toyota owner…never have had another brand…on my 3rd one for life. Thanks!! I will read it!! 2y

JanuarieTimewalker13 Oh wow!! That was fascinating!! I just assumed Yugos were Korean bc they came out at the same time as Hyundai….I had no idea they were Yugoslavian!! Which totally makes sense….now…sad how it ended…thank you so much for looking that up! (edited) 2y
KathyWheeler @JanuarieTimewalker13 I like my Toyota too. 😊 One article about the Yugo said a moped could probably beat it in a race. 😄 I did know it was from Yugoslavia but probably because my grandfather was from there so I noticed. (edited) 2y

JanuarieTimewalker13 Hahahahaha….yes, I remember the consensus was not good! Hello fellow Toyota owner!!! The 3 I‘ve owned: 1980 Toyota Corolla Sports Coupe (my mom purchased that one for me for HS graduation…amazing present…I was beyond thrilled…I can still remember the price…$7100). 1990 Toyota Celica…I bought that one…that was about $17k…..2009 Toyota Corolla (purchased in ‘08) it was about $20k…still going strong…hope I have it 20 years!!! 2y

JanuarieTimewalker13 I get excited about smaller things now like my Electrolux vacuum cleaner and my Blue Air Air Purifier….I‘m that kind of nerd….I couldn‘t care less about fancy stuff…oh and I love for my Hobonichi planners….those are my holy grail of possessions. Lol (edited) 2y
