This November I read 2,166 pages across 7 books. 😊 ones on top I liked a little more than ones on bottom. Favorites for this month are the the first 2 in the Grisha trilogy. #novemberreads

I enjoyed this reread, also thinking of the graphic novel Preacher on my reads this year. The story really has the action comics feel, on a murder trail into the moonshiner woods, where witchy communities go by their own rules. 🐍 I'll have to find more of these supernatural rides by Tom Piccirilli!

I've been taking my time with the November Mourns reread 😆 knowing the motivation has me imagining Shad's character, cast as jailhouse Nicolas Cage. -- I'm looking forward to checking out the Cage horror film, Mandy. https://youtu.be/L1m-FdZCV2w 🐍

October had some good bets, but wasn't quite the spookfest I was hoping for. 🙀 One of the best novels I did enjoy was November Mourns, as I read about 10 years ago. I'll get to a revisit and Litsy review, on why Tom Piccirilli should be better known as another of the best in paranormal horror! 👻🐍🌲

#siblings This is a great one I'd like to reread sometime, likely during a month of November. - A man is jailed for assaulting revenge on his sister's attacker. Once he gets out, he finds his sister mysteriously dead, last seen on a haunted trail leading into a bewitched world of bog snake handlers and illegal Moonshine gangs. These stories are so eerily wild, as I wonder when they'll make movies or graphic novels. #aprilbookshowers

Dan_SpiderCrafts On a quick search, I just noticed that Tom had a part in the writing of this Hellboy comic. I'm sure it is at my library, for a TBR sometime soon. 8y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk I bought Hellboy: Emerald Hell for my brother many Christmases ago. He loved it. 8y

#thistitleequalsgreatbandname November Mourns is the most fitting name I'm thinking of, around Gothic opera, electronic darkwave, and atmospheric metal. It's a title of tunes I'd be easily trilled to hear! #marchintoreading 👻
