Final Salute: A Story of Unfinished Lives | 
pickThis is a tough read but I think it is a worthwhile read. The author spends time with a casualty assistance officer in the Marines (the person who informs a soldiers next of kin). Sheeler writes with deep respect for these fallen warriors. I lost track of how many times I cried reading this book.
