Sometimes it takes 30 years for a literary circle to come the whole way back around. Growing up, I loved this book about a king who had a mouse problem so he got cats. But then he had a cat problems so he got dogs...and so forth and so on until he has to get mice to chase away the elephants.
And now, one of my most excited-for pre-orders is pretty much about this problem...but with mother-humping hippos.
