A non-passenger takes a gun through airport security. Can you tell this book was written around 1985?

Laalaleighh 😮that was a thing? 7y
saguarosally @Laalaleighh The character is a cop so I would imagine back then that a cop might be able to pass security with a weapon, but with difficulty. Security was definitely different then though. The part about going all the way to the gate to meet people was absolutely a thing. 7y
