pickThe weather is lousy, I feel as if I‘ve been hit by a truck, so it‘s a day of sleeping on the couch and catching up on my TBR for me. I didn‘t realize this was a lyrical prose book when I picked it up. It adds to the story in many places and limits it in a couple. It‘s a good, quick read, though, and it makes me wonder how many children found themselves in similar situations in those days, as well as how many survived them.
