Robin Hood retellings! I remember loving this trilogy as a preteen when I was obsessed with myths and legends ❤

Having a quiet #socksunday with a book I read as a teen and found at the local library booksale last month. I've always really loved retellings, and I remember this one as a female-centered retelling of Robin Hood and Maid Marian 🏹 #ya #robinhood #retellings

This was such a great little book about "the green lady of the woods," Robin Hood's female counterpart, if you will. Brings to life old legends of Nottingham Forest and the harsh realities of serfdom, celebrates strong female characters, and keeps steady with action until the very end.

I'm glad this little library found me. It got me back into reading last year.
