A dark thriller that had me turning the lights on. Our protagonist is a cop who is the one who got away from a vicious serial killer who was responsible for the death of her husband and son. But the killer is still free and is coming back for her now.

This was good, but hits so many trigger warnings so be aware.

Another series for me by this author, and so far I‘m loving it more than the previous one (The Undertaker‘s Daughter). A lot darker (tw: rape, torture), but also a suspenseful story and characters to root for. Bobbie, a cop, is the only survivor of serial killer The Storyteller. He took her family and tortured her and has come back for the one who got away. Nick “hunts” serial killers and has shown up to do his job. I‘m in for the ride. 4.25/5⭐️

This boom will hook you from the get go abd will keepbtou guessing tillthe end . highly recommend it .she is mt faviort author and she has not disappointed me anything that she writes .
