A great book for anyone studying German! Brilliant explanations, examples an easy to grasp (even for beginners). Collins is wonderful when it comes to language dictionaries and is by far my absolute favourite! I can't wait to buy a Japanese one

Cherrielein0508 It's so funny to see someone else trying to learn your language, when you're hustling hard to learn theirs. 😊 Good luck. 🍀 8y
HollieTurner @Cherrielein0508 Haha! Thank you! I'm getting their slowly but surely. I've found that English and German are very similar which is a big help 😊 8y
Cherrielein0508 @HollieTurner That's right. But I think that the grammar in german is a little bit - I don't want to say harder - more complex. What do you think? ? Always down for a "practice conversation" ?☺️?? 8y

HollieTurner @Cherrielein0508 I agree! But I think English is really difficult because sentence structures are so weird sometimes 😂 8y
Cherrielein0508 That's true! I mean, I know the words, but sometimes there not in the right order, or the sentence sounds weird, or "too german". ? Hard to explain ? And there are those words, that sound to familiar. Their, they're, your, you're...but I kinda got used to it. Do you have the same "problems" with the German language? 8y
Cherrielein0508 See...they're 8y
HollieTurner @Cherrielein0508 I think my main difficulty is just when to use der, die and das ... It's simple but I always end up confusing them 😄 8y
Cherrielein0508 Yeah, that's pretty tough. 8y
