Shy, socially awkward Marie chronicles her use of sex, writing, and the internet to connect with others and overcome her social deficits, with mixed results.

People who think she's a bad writer sound like they're regurgitating Truman Capote's dumb comment about Kerouac's On the Road: “That's not writing, that's typing.“

Good luck getting ahold of this gem of a book, though.

I can't think of a book I've read that is more #raw than this one. Read it for feminist book club a couple of years back and led to some intense discussions about female sexuality, pornography, prostitution, rape, and exploitation. The author writes in a very raw manner about her sexual experiences. It is disturbing and intense. #micropress #fallintobooks #tyrantbooks

Honest feminist writing for this generation.
